First-hand Digital Transformation: SILA Union for Future Business Analysts

Today, digitalization is becoming an integral part of any industry, and this issue is especially acute in the mineral resources industry. Enterprises are implementing IT systems, but without an understanding of processes and analytical tools, efficiency remains limited.

How to transform data into management solutions and build manageable business processes - an open lecture by SILA Union was devoted to these issues.

The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Economics and Management named after Academician M. I. Agoshkov. Russian State Geological Exploration University. During the lecture, Timur Selimov, Chief Specialist in working with non-profit partners, introduced the participants to practical SILA Union cases demonstrating the use of the platform's tools for analyzing and optimizing business processes in the mineral resources industry. Special attention was paid to the platform's capabilities: process modeling, management decision support, and the formation of professional competencies for a modern business analyst.

The lecture showed students how modern technologies help translate strategic goals into manageable processes, and also revealed the prospects for using domestic tools to create a transparent and efficient digital environment in enterprises.

The event became a vivid example of how the interaction of business and education helps to form a new generation of specialists who are able to work with complex digital systems and make a real contribution to the digital transformation of the industry.
