New Horizons for Leaders: SILA Union and the "My Country – My Russia" Project to Support the Best Initiatives

The technology company SILA Union, acting as a partner of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization “My Country”, part of the presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunities”, will expand its team of mentors in the “Digitalization” track of the “My Country – My Russia” competition in 2025. The formal announcement of this strategic partnership was made at a roundtable session in the State Duma on March 28.

The “My Country – My Russia” competition provides talented young people with invaluable experience from leading experts and helps them advance toward successful careers. One of the unique opportunities for competition winners is the chance to intern at modern, progressive partner companies such as SILA Union.

This strategic partnership will help establish a stable system of support for young talents whose projects have the potential to positively impact regional development throughout the country. The “My Country – My Russia” competition serves as an important tool for strengthening social mobility for proactive youth ready to implement innovative solutions.

This year, SILA Union will act as the curator for the nomination “Digital Environment to Improve the Quality of Life in the Regions.” Winners will receive financial support for the implementation of IT projects and gain valuable experience for their future careers.

“We are confident that our joint efforts will create strong momentum for regional development. Our goal is not only to support initiatives but also to actively participate in their implementation by providing young talents with all the resources needed to bring their ideas to life. SILA Union develops innovative IT solutions that promote digital transformation and improve the quality of life in the regions. For us, it is important not only to contribute to economic growth but also to create a sustainable ecosystem where everyone can realize their potential,”
— said Elena Silkina, Managing Partner at SILA Union.

As part of this partnership, special attention will be given to initiatives focused on:

Creating an inclusive digital environment and developing adaptive interfaces and services;

Enhancing digital literacy — educating the population on how to use digital tools;

Promoting beneficial digital solutions — building comprehensive architectures for government institutions, implementing everyday services, and creating platforms for remote work;

Adapting international best practices in digitalization;

Creating digital jobs through the development of IT products.

Experts, including representatives from major employers, will provide objective evaluations and valuable recommendations to help participants align their ideas with real market and regional needs. The cutting-edge company SILA Union will strengthen the panel of experts for the new season of the competition, and participants will have the opportunity to engage and learn from leading industry professionals.

The “My Country – My Russia” competition traditionally supports socio-economic initiatives aimed at the development of cities and rural areas. Last year, experts reviewed 1,409 projects submitted by youth from across the country. This year, applications are open across 14 categories, covering a range of sectors — from education and ecology to digitalization and entrepreneurship. Project submissions are open until May 11 via the competition’s official website.
