New SILA: SILA Union Software Update Version 1.13.2 Released

SILA Union software is constantly evolving — we’re improving existing built-in tools, boosting overall performance, and enhancing user convenience.

And we’re adding new features. Meet the latest update — SILA Union version 1.13.2! This update brings many helpful and convenient additions. New capabilities have been introduced: the interface is now simpler, search is smarter, and working with models is more powerful — all to help you stay focused on what matters most.

What’s New?

New “Information” section
A new section has been added containing the app’s technical documentation. Now it’s easier and more convenient to find the materials you need. You can disable this section if desired.

New “Model Templates” feature
No more creating identical models from scratch. Set up a template once — reuse it as many times as needed.

New “Model Version Comparison” feature
You can now see what changed and when — visually. Quick, clear, and convenient.

What has changed:

The model version history window has been redesigned — it’s now a full-fledged tab.

The change log has moved to the right side of the window.

A new “Compare” button has been added.

Text model — now a standalone tool
Previously, the standard Wiki model was used for working with text. Now, Wiki has evolved into a full-fledged text model with a table of contents, enhanced search, and display settings. Existing models will convert automatically — no action needed. The model retains its functionality but is now a separate type, visible in the methodology section. This means you can work with the text model type just like any other: add attributes, enable approvals, etc.

What else is new here:

Advanced search now includes the text model.

A table of contents has been added to the text model.

All standard Wiki models now display using the new text model type.

Changes in the reference directory
Search, comment, and jump to elements — it’s now faster and easier.

What’s new:

You can now jump directly to an element from the reference directory.

Added search with filtering functionality within the reference directory.

Interface changes
The interface is now more compact and intuitive: buttons are where they should be, tabs are grouped logically — easy to use, even without instructions.

The main panel has moved to the main button block in the model tab and no longer appears if no model is open.

The “Insert” tab is gone. Its functions are now available as individual buttons in the main block.

The “Format” tab has been replaced by a new “Style Settings” panel on the right side of the app.

The “Save Model Version” and “Insert” buttons have been relocated.

Undo/redo buttons moved to the main button block.

“Refresh” and “Search” buttons are now on the left side of the main block.

The “Go to” button was redesigned.

Buttons in the main block are now grouped logically.

General functionality improvements
Small changes that make a big difference.

You can now export an image of a matrix model. The function works the same way as with other models and supports previous formats (SVG, PNG, JPG, clipboard).

Added a setting that allows a symbol not to snap to a swimlane.

You can now pan the canvas with the right mouse button — a small but nice improvement!

Text files and images can now be opened directly in the system.
