SILA Union and MFUA: how process thinking turns knowledge into a profession
Digital projects rarely fail because of technology — much more often the problem is a misunderstanding of the processes and logic of the system. That is why SILA Union builds its work with universities not around theory, but around practice that is as close as possible to the real challenges of business and digital transformation.
In December, the SILA Union team conducted a practical lesson for 3rd-year students of the Information Systems and Technologies course Moscow University of Finance and Law (MFUA). For students, after studying the EPC and ArchiMate notations on the SILA Union platform, this was the next step in mastering the process management and architectural approach.
From a model to a managed solution
During the lesson, students worked with processes the way analysts and architects do in real projects. Instead of abstract examples, there are practical scenarios of digital transformation, where it is important to understand how the process lives, changes and affects the result.
The participants sorted it out:
– how does the logic of working with processes in digital projects work?;
– how do models turn into managed documentation and a basis for decision-making;
– how to analyze processes and evaluate the effectiveness of changes;
– what role does process management play in the automation and development of the company's IT landscape?
A special emphasis was placed on the fact that the process model is not a formality, but a tool that helps business and IT speak the same language.
Skills that are valued in real-world projects
Working on the SILA Union platform allowed students to see how the knowledge from the training courses is applied in practice — in the very tasks faced by business analysts, system architects and digital transformation specialists.
Such experience forms an understanding of the full cycle of work: from the idea and description of the process to analysis, changes and results. This is what is becoming a key competitive advantage of young professionals in the labor market today.
Education as part of the digital ecosystem
SILA Union's cooperation with MFUA is part of the company's systematic work with the educational environment. The purpose of these projects is to help universities train specialists who come to the industry with practical thinking, understanding of processes and experience working with domestic digital platforms.
For SILA Union, this is a contribution to the development of the professional community and the human resources potential of the digital economy. Because sustainable digital solutions start with people who are able to think process-wise and see the whole system.
