SILA Union and the "My Country – My Russia" Competition: Results and New Initiatives at SPIEF

At the 2025 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, amid high-profile agreements, strategic sessions, and speeches by top executives, one competition stood out—an initiative that has long gone beyond educational outreach. In the spotlight was the final of the XXII All-Russian competition "My Country – My Russia", where SILA Union played a key role as a major partner and the driving force behind one of the most technologically advanced and socially significant categories.

SILA Union, a developer of a domestic platform for business process management, has for years been shaping a space where young people not only learn to work with real digital tools but also implement projects that improve the quality of life across regions. This year, the company curated the category "Digital Environment for Improving the Quality of Life in the Regions", bringing together talented youth from across the country to tackle real challenges with technological solutions.

The "My Country – My Russia" competition is an engineering roadmap for the future of the nation. And today, this future clearly includes a place for young architects of digital solutions. Out of more than 74,000 applications, 183 participants reached the finals, and 39 were named winners, presenting top projects that span vital societal spheres and aim to foster the country’s socio-economic development.

SILA Union provided not only expert support during the project defense phase but also gave finalists the most valuable opportunity—access to the real business world. The winners of the category were invited for internships and practical training at the company, where digital transformation is part of everyday work. Moreover, the SILA Union team will support and assist in scaling the most promising initiatives.

At the awards ceremony, SILA Union CEO Aleksandr Silkin delivered a welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of developing regional digital initiatives and the contribution of young professionals to improving the quality of life for citizens.

"We firmly believe that digital transformation begins with people—those who are active, passionate, and ready to solve real problems. Supporting youth initiatives is an investment in technological development, in building a new generation of leaders, and a catalyst for the country’s sustainable growth. The direction of SILA Union’s work and development includes such collaborations that can transform industries and shape the future of the economy," said Aleksandr Silkin.

Each year, the "My Country – My Russia" competition proves that this country is home to the most talented and creative young people capable of changing it for the better. What began as a small student initiative has evolved into a large-scale community of like-minded individuals from across the country—and a launchpad that marks the beginning of a major professional and personal journey toward a successful and prosperous future.

SILA Union looks confidently toward that future, shaping it by combining cutting-edge IT solutions with talent development to build a sustainable and innovative Russian economy together.
