SILA Union at the Charity Football Tournament Supporting the "Life Line" Foundation: Sports for a Good Cause
Last weekend, 20 of the country’s top companies took to the field to support an important cause. The SILA Union team, along with participants from Alfa-Bank, VTB, Avito, Gazprom, Beeline, Rostelecom, and other major market players, joined a football tournament in support of the "Life Line" Foundation, whose mission is to help seriously ill children.
The tournament took place at the legendary arena of the Spartak Football Academy named after Fyodor Cherenkov. Organized by "Business Champions League" and "Rusporting," the event opened in a spirit of athletic tradition and competitive energy. The ceremony was marked by the presence of Russian football star Dmitry Alenichev. Welcoming speeches were delivered by Yury Gusev, head of the Business Champions League, and Marina Ageyeva, coordinator of corporate programs at the "Life Line" Foundation, who both emphasized the significance of the event from both a sporting and charitable perspective.
Match after match, SILA Union demonstrated cohesive teamwork, a drive to win, and above all—genuine engagement. Every time they stepped onto the pitch, the team brought energy, discipline, and mutual support, turning the games into a true sporting spectacle. Their spirit, determination, and fighting attitude energized the audience.
Beyond the thrilling games, the football tournament was a real celebration for company employees and their families. The event featured children’s areas, entertainment, sports zones, and food courts. The opening and closing ceremonies, along with the awards presentation, added color and joy to the occasion.
On this day, football became more than just a game—it became a tool for real help. Winning was secondary. What mattered was that, thanks to the efforts of all participants, 600,000 rubles were raised for the treatment of Mark Zakharov from Magnitogorsk, a beneficiary of the "Life Line" Foundation.
We thank all organizers and partners for making this a truly kind-hearted tournament, and we’re grateful for the heartfelt enthusiasm of everyone involved!
