SILA Union – Partner of the International Scientific Forum “Step into the Future: Global Foresight, Artificial Intelligence, and Strategic Leadership”

On May 15, the VII International Scientific Forum “Step into the Future: Global Foresight, Artificial Intelligence, and Strategic Leadership” will be held at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (PRUE). SILA Union will participate as an industry partner of the event. The forum will be held as part of the Decade of Science and Technology 2022–2031 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.

The development of artificial intelligence technologies in the context of globalization and increasing geopolitical risks requires the formation of a strategic vision for implementing the latest scientific and technological advancements in this field, and their integration into the national economy to strengthen Russia's position in the global digital space of the data economy. The forum’s primary goal is to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to the emergence of the data economy in Russia and the use of artificial intelligence technologies, while taking into account associated risks and future prospects.

A discussion will be held during the Plenary Session, focusing on the new opportunities arising from the active adoption of AI, setting the stage for breakthrough scientific directions and international technological partnerships to build a new digital paradigm of strategic leadership. SILA Union actively participates in professional and legislative discussions and contributes to the formation of an ethical, secure, and sustainable environment for AI development in Russia, unlocking new paths for growth.

Experts will explore the directions of fundamental research aimed at the further development of artificial intelligence in Russia, as well as their practical implementation within the strategic priorities set by the President and Government of the Russian Federation. Key speakers at the plenary session will include Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Ivan Lobanov, Rector of PRUE. Moderators will be Maxim Kolesnikov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Arutyun Avetisyan, RAS Academician and Director of the Ivannikov Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The forum will bring together international experts, leaders of IT and AI companies, representatives of government bodies, and heads of the country’s leading universities and research institutions.
