SILA Union – Partner of StudFest 2025 at VTB Arena

SILA Union has become a participant and partner of the 5th Annual International Student Festival, StudFest 2025, held with the support of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Human Capital Development" and the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development of Moscow. This is the largest event in the field of student entrepreneurship, bringing together over 10,000 participants at the VTB Arena, including students, university representatives, government officials, and business leaders from Russia and neighboring countries.

SILA Union actively supports StudFest’s mission to foster student initiatives and contribute to their professional and career growth.

Business Modeling Challenge at StudFest 2025

As part of the "I Work in High-Tech" competition, SILA Union presented a business modeling case, which participants had to complete using the SILA Union software. This challenge helped identify promising young talents—winners received the opportunity to intern at SILA Union, gaining first-hand experience in the IT world.

Additionally, a SILA Union Project Office employee, a fourth-year student at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, became a finalist in the competition as the Best Young Specialist in a High-Tech Company.

Inspiring Future IT Leaders

At the VTB Arena main stage, Elena Silkina, Managing Partner of SILA Union, inspired students to pursue internships, shared insights about the company and career opportunities, and highlighted the role of innovative technologies in modern business. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and industry, stating that initiatives like StudFest create platforms for knowledge exchange and idea generation.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about working in high-tech industries and received valuable career advice. Elena believes that supporting youth initiatives and developing human capital are key to a successful future, not only for SILA Union but for the entire technology sector.

University Partnerships & Business Collaboration

Anna Linkevich, Head of the Educational Institutions Relations Department at SILA Union, participated in the "Rector's Hour"—a key event in the festival's business program. It brought together representatives of leading Russian universities, including:

RTU MIREA

MISiS

A.N. Kosygin Russian State University

Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MSTU)

MIPT

IMES

MTUCI, and others.

Discussions focused on the role of business in supporting university initiatives, as well as how universities can enhance collaboration with industry to foster student entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems. SILA Union already actively collaborates with these universities, and during the event, new opportunities for expanding partnerships were proposed.

Internship Opportunities & Student Engagement

At the SILA Union booth, festival attendees could apply for internships directly on-site. More than 100 applications were submitted, and five third-year students from the Institute of Management Technologies at RTU MIREA have already been selected to begin their internships at SILA Union in the near future.
