Highlights from the SILA CLUB Spring Meetup – March 20
On March 20, the SILA CLUB community of business process management and digital transformation experts held its regular in-person meetup on the topic “Strategic Planning in the SILA Union Modeling Environment.” In a relaxed spring atmosphere, participants explored general approaches to developing corporate strategy, its formalization in SILA Union, and how the platform supports integration of strategy with business processes and KPIs.
SILA Union enables the creation of key diagrams for enterprise strategy management, supports the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), and offers other powerful tools. The platform provides organizations with a comprehensive visual representation of strategic plans aligned with business objectives, helping to structure team efforts, improve control, and enhance coordination.
Speakers shared their experiences and best practices in strategic planning and presented the most effective tools available in SILA Union software.
Denis Stasevich, Head of the Project Office at SILA Union, PhD in Economics, and Artem Kin, Business Analyst at the company, showcased the system’s capabilities for managing strategy and KPIs. They walked the audience through the strategic management process, from formulating mission and vision, building goal hierarchies, conducting strategic analysis, to strategy development and evaluation. Denis provided an in-depth look at how to model and implement the BSC in SILA Union, while Artem continued with an overview of integration possibilities between SILA Union and other systems for managing strategy and KPIs.

Sergey Ovchinnikov, CEO of ISO Expert, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor at MIREA RTU, and SILA Union partner, presented a comprehensive approach to strategy development with a focus on SILA Union’s capabilities. Sergey demonstrated a high-level strategy map, as well as strategic maps and key indicators for individual business areas. He detailed goal trees and goal environment models, diagrams for goal achievement assessment, roadmaps, and strategy execution control tools.
The event concluded with Anton Antipin, CEO of Business Set, lecturer at the Russian School of Management and the Russian International Olympic University. Anton spoke on why strategy is essential for business success and shared methods for strategic planning. He explained the structure of a strategy session using SILA Union model examples, presented strategy and goal diagrams, and introduced a monitoring system for performance indicators. Together with the participants, he discussed how SILA Union software can enhance the strategy development process.

The meetup served as an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and idea sharing, while also strengthening professional connections within the community. We thank everyone for their active participation and engaging discussions—and we look forward to seeing you at future SILA CLUB events. Stay tuned for updates!
