SILA Union and Moscow State University: an international perspective on digital business
Entering new markets requires not only technological readiness, but also a deep understanding of the economic environment, regulatory features and business culture of different countries. It is from this logic that SILA Union builds its work with young specialists, involving them in tasks that are as close as possible to real business challenges.
In December, the SILA Union case session for international students was held at the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The format of the event was practice-oriented: the participants worked on an analytical task related to the international development of the company and the assessment of potential markets.
Analytics, market and product thinking
During the case session, students were asked to analyze countries that may be of interest for the development of SILA Union products and solutions. The work was built around key strategic analysis tools — SWOT, PESTEL and qualitative research.
This approach allowed the participants to look at the digital product in the context of the economic, technological and institutional factors of specific regions.
A separate section was devoted to the use of artificial intelligence in analytical work. The students were offered regulations for the use of AI tools, which allowed them to build a transparent and manageable approach to working with data, a practice that is becoming the standard in real companies today.
International audience and exchange of experience
The case session brought together students from different countries — China, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Russia. This composition of participants made the discussion particularly valuable: different economic contexts and points of view allowed us to take a deeper look at the challenges of international development and adaptation of digital solutions.
During the session, Branko Vuchkovich, Head of the International Presale Department at SILA Union, and Timur Selimov, Chief Specialist for work with non-profit partners at SILA Union, gave detailed feedback on the solutions presented, answered students' questions, and shared practical experience working with foreign markets, international customers, and research projects.
Practice as part of a professional path
Following the meeting, the university's curators noted the importance of such formats for international students, for whom it is especially important to gain applied experience and understand the requirements of the real market.
Working with leading universities, including Moscow State University, allows us to expand the professional community and train professionals who are able to work with digital products in a global context. SILA Union will continue to build an informed dialogue with future specialists, show real tasks of international development and form students' systematic, analytical and product thinking.
