Results of the “Digital Enterprise Power with SILA Union” 2024 Conference
The largest industry event in the field of process management and digital transformation took place on November 12 at the Business Space Center in Moscow. The annual conference "Digital Enterprise Power with SILA Union" brought together over 800 experts and professionals specializing in corporate architecture design and enhancing organizational efficiency through a process-driven approach.
This year, the “Universe of SILA” focused on the latest trends and technologies facilitating the integration of digital solutions into business processes. Participants discussed pressing topics, including process automation, the architectural approach to organizational management, the creation of digital models, developing human capital in business analytics and process management, and much more.
A distinctive feature of the "Digital Enterprise Power with SILA Union" conference was the presentation of digitalization case studies by leading companies in Russia. Practitioner speakers revealed details and nuances of their projects, sharing discoveries, insights, and know-how—valuable information for companies transitioning to or implementing digital transformation projects.
The rich program of presentations was complemented by an open discussion with market experts, an exhibition of solutions from conference partners, the awarding of winners in the SILA Union project competition, as well as ample networking and informal communication. Speakers and participants of the open discussion shared successful case studies and practical recommendations for implementing process-driven approaches, while also addressing the challenges companies face on the path to digital transformation.
The Future of Corporate Architecture: Innovations from SILA Union
The organizers of the conference, developers of the leading software for corporate architecture design, SILA Union, introduced the "Universe of SILA"—an innovative ecosystem that unites best practices and tools for organizational design within a unified digital environment. The core component of this ecosystem, SILA Union software, offers users extensive capabilities for modeling, import substitution, and adapting architectural approaches to fit the specific needs of businesses.
During the conference, key platform features were showcased, including data design functionalities ranging from manual model drawing to data import and integration with external systems. Additional features include model autogeneration based on existing data, a library of standard models and processes, and the use of artificial intelligence to generate models. The platform now includes Process Mining technology, which enables reconstructing processes from logs and other data, conducting in-depth analysis, and evaluating performance.
SILA Union supports various types of data models, such as graphical models, textual documents (with collaborative editing capabilities), matrices, dashboards, directories, Kanban boards, and more. The release of the WIKI 2.0 text engine enhances work with large documents, allowing users to format them, embed live model images, and more, making it easier to handle data in both graphical and textual formats.
Recent updates include enhancements to matrices and attribute-based searches, the introduction of a new model type (directory), process maturity level evaluation, a recycle bin for restoring deleted objects, and much more. These innovations aim to make the system even more efficient for users, ultimately improving productivity and work quality.
Conference attendees were the first to learn about new large-scale projects launched at the event. Over 100 applications were submitted during the presentation day for participation in the Great SILA Union Tournament. The growth of the SILA Union ecosystem into the Universe of SILA has revealed the need to launch a system participant certification project—ensuring that companies and partners can rely on their teams’ knowledge quality, enhance their competencies, and strengthen their leadership positions. Information about these projects will be published soon—stay tuned for updates.
