Digital Transformation in Action: SILA Union at the Conference on the Future of Economy and Business

The future of business is being shaped now — through digital technologies, knowledge management, and process architecture. The topic of digital transformation, in the context of rapid technological progress and the growing importance of import substitution, is becoming increasingly relevant for both the business and public sectors.

How to build a resilient company architecture, manage knowledge, and adapt to new conditions — these were the focus of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation titled “Digitalization of the Economy and Business Transformation: Challenges and Prospects,” held at Penza State University. Representatives from SILA Union shared their unique experience in designing corporate architecture and managing knowledge in a digital environment.

Anna Linkevich, Head of Nonprofit Partnerships, and Artem Kin, Business Analyst, spoke to students and conference participants. They presented SILA Union’s solutions focused on creating digital twins of organizations — comprehensive digital models that visualize all processes, identify bottlenecks, and enable effective business development management.

Anna Linkevich spoke about designing corporate architecture and managing digital transformation using SILA Union, as well as the company’s role in supporting digital transformation in both commercial and public sectors. The SILA Union product not only meets safety and import substitution requirements but is also actively used in university curricula — from providing free licenses to participating in the development of joint programs and educational materials. Special attention was given to collaboration with leading universities and the creation of integrated courses where students work with real-life case studies using the system.

We are, on the one hand, integrating automation tools — such as generating job descriptions and project passports. On the other hand, we are applying analytical tools that help manage processes and make critical decisions. This is the main goal of digital transformation — to digitize processes. Most importantly, this allows us to create a unified business environment where all departments can work together effectively,” noted Anna.

In his speech, Artem Kin highlighted the topic of knowledge management using SILA Union. He demonstrated how the modern platform helps centralize accumulated knowledge, make it accessible to all employees, optimize collaboration, and create a unified digital workspace. Artem also shared real-world cases: from automating employee onboarding to building knowledge bases for customer support and managerial decision-making based on analytics.

The presented tools help companies increase process transparency, speed up onboarding, and reduce risks associated with knowledge loss. Particular focus was placed on scalability and system adaptability for both large and small businesses.

A company is essentially a complex organism made up of many individuals, each possessing unique knowledge and experience. For an organization to function effectively, it’s important to unify this scattered knowledge and make it accessible to everyone. It’s similar to how our brain integrates information from different sources to create a complete picture of the world. Without a knowledge management system, a company faces a number of challenges,” explained Artem.

The presentation generated strong interest, particularly among students and faculty members who are already using SILA Union solutions in their coursework. Discussions included the potential for simplified product versions for small and medium enterprises, employee motivation for knowledge sharing, and the role of corporate culture in digital transformation.

Participation in the conference served not only as an opportunity to showcase technologies but also as a platform for dialogue with the academic and business communities, experience exchange, and the formation of joint educational and technological initiatives.

At the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Digitalization of the Economy and Business Transformation: Challenges and Prospects,” the following organizations shared their expertise: LLC SILA Union, InfoWatch Group, PJSC Sberbank, Belarusian State University, Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Penza branch of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and Penza State University.
