Results of the IT conference Digital power of the enterprise with SILA Union

1On October 9, in Moscow, at the Business Space Center, the most important event in the field of business processes, corporate architecture and digital transformation took place - the conference “Digital Power of the Enterprise with SILA Union”. The site brought together the main experts in the design and management of business processes, speakers from the largest companies implementing digital transformation projects, and the organizers - SILA Union, creators of leading software for modeling and analysis of business processes, corporate and IT architecture, strategy and risks.

Throughout the day, participants were immersed in interesting discussions, reports from IT leaders and live communication. Next we will tell you how it happened.

What was discussed?

The conference was opened by the founders of SILA Union – Elena and Alexander Silkin. In their presentation, Alexander and Elena presented the updated format of the innovative software SILA Union, in which each user can find all the necessary tools for analyzing and optimizing business processes: functional-cost, semantic and comparative analyses, analytical dashboards and reports, simulation modeling and implementation projects of any complexity and focus. SILA Union is now not only a necessary tool for any leading company, but an entire ecosystem in which more than 100,000 users have access to graphical and WIKI models, document and report generation, training centers, etc. Each user can influence the development of products SILA Union - the backlog is formed based on requests that are important to customers.

Customers discussed the use of the SILA Union system in digital transformation projects at an open discussion session moderated by Elena Silkina. Experts Alexey Sidoryuk (ANO Digital Economy), Ivan Nekrasov (PJSC Forward Energo), Alexander Krasnov (PJSC Yakovlev) and Maria Kamennova (JSC Atomstroyexport) exchanged views on the future of process management and corporate architecture, as well as the use artificial intelligence at work. The session participants discussed the main trends in the implementation of digital transformation projects, and the extent to which these projects can ensure increased productivity and competitiveness of companies.

Yulia Popkova, Deputy Director of the Financial Audit Department, further spoke about the implementation of process management based on SILA Union to improve the efficiency of the Accounts Chamber. In her report, Yulia shared the progress of the digitalization project of the Accounts Chamber and the results achieved: the organization’s processes were described and optimized, a process portal was developed for a unified storage of all information about the processes.

Another key topic of the event was the transition from foreign process modeling systems to domestic solutions. Denis Vasiliev, head of the quality management system management department at Gazpromtrans LLC, told the participants step by step how the transition from ARIS software to SILA Union was implemented. The plans include developing the use of the SILA Union software product and replicating process modeling practices to other branches.

The topic of import substitution was continued by Maria Tikhonova, head of the Process Office department of KONSIST-OS JSC. Maria shared her experience of implementing and using domestic software SILA Union at the Rosenergoatom concern. In her report, Maria described in detail how the project was implemented - the SILA Union modeling interface, methodology and main models and reports were presented. As a result, it was possible to satisfy all Rosenergoatom’s requirements for the import substitution system without loss of functionality.

Also, Ivan Nekrasov, Director of IT and Digitalization at PJSC Forward Energo, began with the issue of the need to replace imported software. Ivan shared with the conference participants his experience of transitioning from ARIS software to SILA Union software, solved problems and further prospects for implementing a full cycle of QMS automation based on SILA Union.

SILA Union is already used as a QMS support tool in many companies, and Sergey Ovchinnikov, CEO of ISO Expert, spoke in detail about this using the example of his company. The QMS architecture with all the necessary models was built on the basis of SILA Union. Also, one of the solved tasks was a prompt response to changes in order to make decisions on the development of the organization.

Anastasia Zueva, head of training, analysis and optimization of business processes, continued the topic of change management and spoke about preparing business processes for digital transformation and overcoming barriers to the implementation of digital changes.

Not only representatives of commercial companies and companies with state participation, but also autonomous non-profit organizations appeared on stage. Evgeniy Zaramenskikh, head of the department of business informatics at the Higher School of Economics, spoke about the training of specialists in process management, and Maxim Natapov, founder of One International School, spoke about digital transformation in education using the example of new approaches.

Of particular interest was the speech of Alexey Sidoryuk, director of the “Digital Transformation of Industries” direction of the ANO “Digital Economy”. Alexey shared a case of using generative artificial intelligence in practice, namely, in the SILA Union digital system. The introduction of AI into business processes is one of the most popular vectors of company development today. Alexey's report presented the possibilities of generating a subject area, business processes, risk maps, org. structures and KPIs of employees with examples of models.

The business part of the event program was completed by Kirill Vecherov, a representative of the Association of Scientific, Educational and Industrial Organizations “Transport Science”. In his report, Kirill shared the need to describe business processes, the criteria for selecting a BPM project, and the implementation of the architecture management service in SILA Union.

SILA Club

In addition to the speakers and lively discussions on the main stage, the event participants were invited to the SILA Club stand, where the grand opening of the community of experts in the field of process management, business architecture and digital transformation took place. Club members will be able to meet monthly in closed meetings, discuss topics and issues of interest, publish their original materials, post a resume or look for employees, and much more.

Digitalization of education together with SILA Union

A separate session was organized for a section on working with universities - Digitalization of education together with SILA Union. At it, representatives of SILA Union and educational institutions of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, RANEPA, MGIMO, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and others discussed the problem of the lack of qualified specialists in the field of business modeling and ways to solve this problem. SILA Union presented a roadmap for the development of educational products and described in detail what specialists the market now needs and with what tools they need to be trained.

“Digital SILA” project competition

The winners of the Digital Power project competition were announced between the speakers' presentations. The best of the best were awarded prizes for outstanding results in projects implemented using SILA Union software. As a result of the jury’s work and expert assessment of the submitted projects, the following companies became winners of the “Digital SILA” competition:
