SILA Union and Tula State University: The Start of a Productive Partnership

On June 6, the SILA Union team organized an in-depth introduction to the world of systems analysis and business modeling through a hands-on workshop for students of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Tula State University.

This significant event marked the beginning of an active collaboration with the university—and right away in the most valuable format of live dialogue! The workshop was led by SILA Union business analyst Pyotr Solovyov, who presented the platform in an engaging and practical way. He demonstrated how the system works, what analytical tools are used in the company’s operations, and how modeling and data processing help solve real business problems. Importantly, students were shown not only different types of models and the notations used but also how these models can be used to handle data in everyday tasks.

One of the most valuable aspects of the training was the practical component: participants saw how SILA Union tools are applied in real project work and received answers directly from a specialist who works with the system daily.

The workshop provided students with an excellent opportunity to:
– get acquainted with a modern IT product in demand in business;
– learn how digital process modeling is built;
– see how modeling and data analysis are used to solve real business problems.
